LANDERMASON
Were our guests for our 30th Birthday on March 13th.
Both Fiona and Paul were very complementary about our club, the atmosphere and the audience. Fiona also left a box of chocolates on the table to be passed around. Both their sets were absolutely wonderful with Fiona brilliant on keyboard, saxaphone, clarinet, recorder and whistles and Paul's superb playing on the guitar what could go wrong?? Everyone I spoke to acclaimed them as being one of the best acts they have seen at the club and that the jazz influence in their music was fantastic.
Thank you LANDERMASON for a wonderful and memorable night.

Hi Derek,
Just a quick note to say THANKS for a lovely evening last Friday. You certainly have a wonderful club down there in Rainham and a smashing venue. All the very best for the next 30 years!

KRIS DOLLIMORE
Kris Dollimore at the Moore or Less Folk Club on Friday 8th May 2009.
I've been wanting to book Kris at the club for ages, at last I got him there and believe me the wait was worth it. Never before have the audience come up to me and insisted that I book the artist again
asap. He was just brilliant. If you like the blues then Kris is definitely the man to see, and I will be booking him again.
Below is the email I received from Kris on what he thought about the gig and the club.
Hi Derek
I'm so glad everyone enjoyed the gig; it works both ways though, I had a fantastic time too. I'm genuine when I say it was one of the best gigs I've played, in terms of the intelligence and appreciation of the audience and how I performed, everything. It was just great.
Let me know when you want me back and I'll be only to glad to come and play for you all again.
Thanks also to you and evryone present that night for making me feel so welcome. I know I didn't have to travel far but you never know what to expect when you arrive at a new venue. I immediatly felt comfortable and at ease and remained so all evening.
Take care and hope to see you soon.
Cheers
Kris
Thanks Kris for a wonderful evening. See you soon.

SINGING LOINS
At the Moore or Less Folk Club on Friday 10th July 2009
Unfortunately I did'nt have my camera with me on this night, so I've borrowed a couple of photo's off their web site. HOWEVER what a brilliant night they gave us, we were packed to the rafters. They have a massive following in the Medway Towns and most of them turned up, there must have about 60% of the audience that I did'nt recognize (other clubs take note). Their songs lively, often thought provoking, humorous and most of all very entertaining. All feedback was positive so much so that my very good friends from the Sheppey Folk & Blues Club have booked them for their 2010 guest list, watch out for them over there. Below is an email I received from Chris Broderick.
Hello Derek,
Just back from holiday, so sorry for the delay in answering.
We had a great time - It's always good to reach a new audience and we could definitely feel how much they enjoyed it. It was a good mix of Loins fans and folk club regulars, and no punch ups either!
See you again soon,
Chris Loin.
Thank you Singing Loins for a great night.

PHOENIX
At the Moore or Less Folk Club on Friday 9th October 2009
Yet another good night at the club, unfortunately the heavy rain did keep some of our regulars at home, both Davey and Christa played out of their skin for us lucky ones who braved the weather. Their music was both traditional and contempory. Davey & Christa have a good rapport between themselves and the audience which meant we all had a fantastic time listening to good music and with the odd heckle here and there, all in good fun and everyone enjoyed the evening.
Thank you Phoenix.
